Rol van partner

Van je partner wordt tijdens de badbevalling een actieve rol verwacht. Je partner zal het bad klaarzetten en het met water vullen. Ook bij het in en uit bad stappen zal je partner je ondersteunen. Tijdens de bevalling wordt het water (door je partner) schoon en op temperatuur gehouden. Het is voor je partner toegestaan om in zwemkleding in het bad plaats te nemen. Na de bevalling is het aan de partner om het bad leeg te laten lopen en op te ruimen.

Partner role

Your partner has an active role during the waterbirth. Your partner will be the one who sets up the birth pool and fills it up with water. Your partner will also be the one helping you to get in and out of the pool. During the birth your partner might be the one keeping the water at the right temperature. Your partner may also join you in the birth pool with swimwear on.

After the waterbirth your partner will empty and clean up the birth pool.
